Lucky for us, C-ute’s leader kicked down some preview images from her 11th photobook “Hitori no Kisetsu”. I must warn you: Maimi is incredibly fit and gives us lots of bikini photos. If you are OK with all of that, click the link below!
OK, this is probably irresponsible of me, but I cam across some Sayumi pictures that were too hot to handle. I can only assume that these are preview pictures from her upcoming final (Morning Musume) photobook.
You can buy Sayumi’s final photobook at CD Japan.
And, it is indeed a lovely day. The good folks at Up Front / Hello! Project finally release some new solo work from my favorite, Ikuta Erina. The new e-Hello DVD “It’s a Lovely Day” has an October 31, 2014 release date. From the preview, we can see Eripon around a sea wall and a beach wearing her school uniform and a nice strapless green dress. Ikuta’s image has shifted slightly in the last year, so I’m interested in seeing which Erina we’ll see in the DVD. Here’s the preview
And, some stills. I’ve seen this first one around a bit. The shot is suggestive of something, and I’ll leave that to you.
Yay for the Eripon in a skirt!
With the sun behind her
This is making it’s way into my wallpaper collection
Eripon has been a part of Morning Musume / Hello! Project for 3 1/2 years and this is only her second solo release. That’s a bit shameful, isn’t it? Needless to say, I’ve already ordered the DVD.
Oh, what about her “Greeting” e-Hello? You wanna see that preview, too? In the interest of comparison, I’ll assent.
You can order “It’s a Lovely Day” from CDJapan
Don’t worry, she wasn’t “FRIDAY-ED”. These are just photobook previews from H!P Jesus’s upcoming photo book “KARIN”
You can buy “Karin” at CDJapan
Today turned out to be a great day for me. Today we got previews from both PASSPO’s and Tokyo Girls’ Style’s upcoming singles. I will probably write a whole article on each of these releases, so I’ll just leave a couple of impressions from these previews.
First: the shorty. This Tokyo Girls’ Style release, “Unmei”, Continue reading
To tell the truth, I’m not a huge Wada Ayaka fan. Ayacho has been making my ears bleed since 2008 in Shugo Chara Egg! Boy, she was weird looking back then. I was also disappointed when Ayaka was chosen for S/mileage over Saho Akari, who I much preferred. No use in crying: S/mileage started great, got better, and is now a work in progress thanks to her efforts. That sounded a lot nastier than I meant it to sound. I think she has done what any young girl would do to save her floundering idol group would do. Judging from blog articles, this hasn’t been easy for any of the S/mileage girls.
Well, at least there’s a solo DVD on the horizon for Ayacho. I think she looks like a different person in this preview. The girlish S/mileage look doesn’t suit her anywhere near as well as the more mature look she sports both here and in the Peaberry PV. Did you know she’s 18 now? EIGHTEEN. No wonder she is looking so mature in the DVD preview! It seriously took me a minute to recognize her!! You know, S/mileage is a young girl’s game. Seeing the young’uns behind her growing, I wonder how long she will last in S/mileage.
She still sounds like a screeching feral cat, but now she’s a more consistently pitched feral cat. Well … just check her out. You won’t even need the mute button!
Here’s the Peaberry PV, for the curious.
Another sound stage green screen PV, eh? How exactly does leopard print fit in with a deserted-yet-fully-lit city intersection? Not that I think it matters. I’m sure someone out there is calling for thematic unity from their idol groups, but I’m not really one of those.
The new Morning Musume single is called “Help Me” and will be released on January 23. I am excited to hear and see Oda Saukra’s first single. They have released a video of the single announcement with the 11nin group including a preview of the song and the outfits (linked below). It doesn’t sound too far off from the sound they have been using on the last three singles. Then again, I’ve only listened to it one time on my way to work. Maybe the sound of the car traffic got mixed in with the sound of “Help Me”. I’m sure I will add more impressions as we get more previews of the song and the PV. The outfits are a belly-baring cheetah thing with a hot pink tulle skirt. Each of the girls have a unique head accessory- Reina as a big ass bow, Haruka’s sporting an off kilter cap, Sayu has a beret (OUI!), etc. None of this do I find offensive.
